The Hawley Borough Police Department consists of 9 part-time officers and is a municipal police agency located in Wayne County, Pennsylvania. The borough is situated just west of lake wallenpaupack and provides police services to a population of approximately 1500 residents. It also contracts police services for Palmyra Township (Wayne County) with a populatin of approximately 1300 residents. The total road mileage of our police coverage is approximately 35 miles.


The Hawley Police Department strives on providing professional police service to its residents as well as the surrounding area. Also its officers are members of the Wayne County Drug Task Force and are involved in many community functions. It also has a bike patrol and crime watch association. All officers receive updated training on a regular basis.


Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for its residents and other communties we serve. We accomplish this by working with other law enforcement agencies and the public. We shall enforce the laws and provide a safe environment for residents and visitors of the borough.
